Sometimes I feel a bit sheltered living here, but I don’t mind. I might as well talk about living here while I’m at it ^^. There’s not much to do in Suriname anyways.
Anyways, walk a few paces out my studio and you see my living room. (Above) I’ve imagined playing Crysis on those screens… or maybe watching Moeblob times four. There’s a big gaping hole leading to the third floor - there used to be a chandelier there, but now it’s replaced with halogen lamps that scorch your back as you eat.
This is the view from the balcony. There used to be a bunch of tall trees obscuring the bridge, but they were cut down when I came back to Suriname. The weird cone thing at the left is a lumber company.
Another view. There’s a lot of morning fog here. Sometimes it gets hard to see where you’re driving - not that I can drive without breaking the law anyways. How bad is morning fog where you live?
This is where I spend most of my time, predictably(?). I don’t like going out much, but I’m not a hikikomori either.
And-
I found this in the paper the other day.
- tv wall
- industry
- more industry and fields
- rig
- peace
