giant robot!

Time for another update on how it’s been! School-wise, the Anime club’s been established. First meeting will be next week, and i’m currently working on the promotional poster. (Look above!) Nagisa (character from Twilight, a VN which I will post a little info about later) is now at 80%, with just two outfits and a hairstyle to go!

I hate crappy internet. I hate crappy internet even more if only one computer can use it at once. This is the case of my current internet! The modem is not designed for more than one computer to use, and the maximum down speed is 128k, but I get around a hundred on speedtest. At least it’s being upgraded soon. Meanwhile, torrents run at a maximum of 12.5 kB/s down, and I can’t do anything while torrent connections are active! (Not even IRC!) I need to catch up on my shows…

Other than that, I’ve been playing Crysis : Warhead lately. I think it’s fun, but I get a few glitches playing it. (Outdated drivers may be the problem, but I can’t download new drivers at the moment either, due to already-mentioned internet issue ;_;) I like the dual-machine-handgun things too, but they made it near impossible to see through the reflex sight during the frozen levels. :(  And is it just me, or is the voice actor for Psycho, Price from CoD4?!

About the picture: It’s been awhile since I’ve taken a drawing of a giant robot seriously. I started drawing animu stuff back in primary school (second grade, I think), and I started with robots. A bit shocking, especially compared to the lack of mechanical things i’ve drawn in… forever. I still find geometric things easier to draw than organic though, unless it comes to something from life - in that case, it’s soooo hard to make geometric things look right D:. I do hope to finish this drawing by the end of the week, simultaneously continuing work on Nagisa’s outfits.
